CIT Program (15 years old)

15 years old — Developing Future Leaders!

COUNSELOR IN TRAINING (CIT) PROGRAM

This program prepares young adults for future work with children such as a career in education. Working as a camp counselor is one of the hardest jobs out there. There are many people depending on you. During the CIT program, we hope to start building skills to help prepare our young adults for a possible position as a camp counselor but also to help prepare them for other leadership roles.

Throughout the session, these are the skills that we hope to see in the CTs in the program: Good communicator, self-starter, resilient, problem solver, creative, detail-oriented, leader, team player and has a solid work ethic. If we can help start building these skills at a young age our young adults will be hopefully more successful in what they choose to pursue.
