Creative Themes staff is at the parking lot from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM to greet children. Staff will make sure the children safely get to their designated areas. At this time parents will not be able to enter the property due to Covid protocols, so we ask that all children be independent and accepting of other adult help.
At 12:00 pm staff will bring all children to the parking lot area where will proceed to dismiss them. The CT staff follow our very safe loading and releasing of vehicles. This has been a very safe and efficient system for years. We ask that you follow directions, stay in your cars, and trust our great staff.
This program at Creative Themes will run for two weeks in June, designed for campers entering PK (4) and K in the fall of 2021. There are three options for the number of days to attend. If a child would like to attend with another child they would need to be enrolled in the same option.
All children need to be 4 years old by June 14, 2021.
Our staff during the June program is college students and professionals who have dedicated their education and careers to working with children. This is a fun and energetic staff, many of them with years of Creative Themes experience. Our staff ratio for the PK (4) and K program is 1:5 overall.
All campers will have an opportunity to try our FACT (Fishing, Archery, Canoeing and Theater (Performing Arts)) activities. Each FACT activity will be done during each of the sessions at least once but more often if time and weather permits. All activities are highly supervised by our qualified staff.
During this program, there will be no pool or water activities (besides canoeing)
Creative Themes has built our Summer programs around Experiential Learning, also known as Outdoor Adventure Education. We have designed activities and elements that are age-appropriate for the PK and K age groups. Our staff is trained to help campers experience a safe and fun outdoor play and learning experience.
Art is done daily.
Our PK/K children will be provided a daily morning snack
Cool drinking water is always available every day.
Children with allergies – CT is fully committed to handling all dietary restrictions and food allergies in an efficient and professional manner. Individual attention is the hallmark of how we handle this vital safety issue. Your child’s Lead Counselor will take care of all food allergy matters for your child. He/she will communicate with parents about individual needs. We also have a staff member in our office who is responsible for handling food allergy questions.
Creative Themes maintains “Peanut Free” tables! We are always happy to talk with parents about the needs of their children.
CT has much staff trained in First Aid and the use of epi-pens.
